Dorothy Divers Estate Auction

The sun is finally out today. We were lucky to dodge rain showers at our last three auctions. The farmers around here have had enough rain for a while but remarkably little water has run off and we have escaped any bad weather. I have been fortunate to have had a number of nice auctions this spring. The next one I am working on is the Dorothy Divers Estate auction which will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 AM at 301 Cherry St in Northfield. Dorothy was an art instructor at St Olaf for many years. I think she did the artwork in the old “King’s Room” There will be many art related items on this auction including pieces of Dorothy’s work as well as the work of other artists. In addition, there will be a printer’s proof press, drawing boards, easel, lots and lots of art supplies and a number of nice pieces of antique furniture, many old books, and lots of other antiques and estate items. This promises to be a nice auction. We are just starting to work in the attic and there will be lots of “finds” by auction day. We hope you can come and join us.
