Charles & Lois Messner Auction – September 30

On Saturday, September 30 at 12:00 noon, I will be conducting an auction for Charles and Lois Messner at 310 Maple St in Northfield.  This promises to be one of the most interesting auctions that you may see this year.  The Messners traveled widely and collected many fascinating items.  Many of these items have been in storage for decades.  The items pictured here are a 1932 New York State hunting and trapping pin, a Buck Jones horseshoe pin, a Ralston Tom Mix Straight Shooter Pin, a Little Orphan Annie Secret Radio Society Pin, “Soldats de Plomb” (French lead soldiers in the original box), a 6″ Red Wing spongeware bowl, Rookwood vase and Frankoma candleholders, Marblehead Pottery seahorse vase, Rookwood vase.  All these items as well as Danish dishes, Waterford glasses, Bobby Benson’s HO Ranch decoder set and western badge, WWI bayonet and wooden ammunition box,literally 1000’s of books of all kinds including numerous French authors in French (Balzac, Camus, Apollinaire, Proust, etc) 100’s of LP’s, 100’s of VCR tapes, gourmet cookware, cookbooks, many old typewriters and vintage electronic magazines and equipment, household items of every kind.  Be sure to attend this interesting and unusual auction
