Now that I have your attention, let me tell you how things are progressing for the milk glass auction. We are getting closer to the date. The pictures that you see here to get your attention are photos of similar pieces, not the actual pieces to be auctioned. We will be opening all 130+ (yes I said 130+) boxes of glass on Friday. I will have a crew of qualified (and careful) people unwrapping pieces and helping to assemble lots so that we can efficiently take the pictures of the actual lots and get them onto the proxibid.com web site so that you can see what you will be bidding on. I have been in contact with the VFW post where we will have the auction and they will have 30 tables set up for me on Friday morning to display all 570 lots of glass. Friday will be frantic and it will be interesting. If any of you are available to help set up on Friday morning, let me know. Looking forward to seeing many of you in person and others on line. Wish us luck in making this auction of Harriet Ward’s collection a great success for the National Milk Glass Collector’s Society.
