Just a short note to let everyone know the status of the Peterson Art Furniture Auction which was to be held in Faribault this weekend. This auction is being rescheduled to a later date (probably after the first of the year) to allow more time to inventory and catalog the huge amount of interesting items that will be sold. Thank you for your patience. Watch this blog for more information as we get farther along with inventorying.

Hopefully you have already planned to attend the Ruth Wiberg estate auction tomorrow in Faribault. I just wanted to take this opportunity to mention that as we were getting ready for the auction, there are many, many more items than we put on the auction flyer. The boxes are loaded with antiques and collectibles. Do yourself a favor and come check it out. The auction starts at 10:00 and you can come earlier to get a good look.
Also, I have started added photo gallerys for the Rasmussen Auction in Cannon Falls on Oct 2 and for the Pat and Harvey Kuhlman Doll Auction in Mantorville on October 9.

On Thursday, August 11 the “Contented Cow” is hosting a fundraising auction for the Northfield Arts Guild. Norm Butler, well known local entrepreneur and patron of the arts is putting together an auction where local people are invited to bring thei unwanted art which will be auctioned off with the proceeds given to NAG. This should be a fun evening so we hope to see you all there.

I am happy to say that, in this case at least, no news is good news. There has been no news on my auction site for quite a while and that is because I have been swamped, overwhelmed, drowning in activity. At this time, we have an Art Fundraising auction in Northfield at the Contented Cow on August 11, the Carroll and Ginger Steppel auction in Northfield on August 16, Margaret Starks estate in Northfield with very nice antiques on August 23, Ruth Wiberg estate in Faribault with absolutely great collection of Heywood Wakefield furniture, Voegels items, glassware, china, large estate on August 27 in Faribault, two auctions in Mantorville Square, Harvey and Pat Kuhlman doll and doll making molds and supplies in September, also multi party auction in Mantorville, Betterly estate in Red Wing on Oct 1, Bob and Janet Rasmussen fine glassware and furniture auction in Cannon Falls at Grandpa’s Garage on Oct 2, incredible Richfield estate to be auctioned in Northfield on Oct 15, Restaurant equipment auction in Faribault in October, next installment of Fymbo estate with TV and cowboy items, kitchen advertising, Barbie’s, amazing collection, several more auctions in the works, Northfield Historical Society auction Nov 5. etc. Watch this site.
