Al Berg Antique and Household Auction July 17, Northfield

Al Berg is a longtime Northfield resident and former business owner of Berg’s Shoes on Bridge Square.  Al has decided to sell his tools and numerous antique and household items at public auction at his home at 15 Bunday Court in Northfield. 

Dresser & mirror, Bookcase, Lamp table, Oval tableFolding table & chairs, Dining room table & 6 chairs, Staffordshire “Liberty Blue” dishes, Collector spoons, Royal Doulton tea pot, Rosepoint cream & sugar and candlesticks, and bowl, Moustache cup, Bavaria china bowl, Etched glass pitcher, Austria plate, Japanese vase, Silverplate, Japanese Geisha dishes, Wedgewood candleholder, Hummel figure, Many hand tools  of all types, Air rifle, Extension cords and garage misc too numerous to list.

Auctioneers Note:  Many of the the antique items came from Al’s grandparents and are quite old and nice.

Hardware Store Auction - Saturday, June 21, 11:00 AM, Northfield

You have one more chance to stock up on all those items you meant to buy at Lansing’s.  We have a whole truckload of boxes of all sorts of inventory to be sold at auction.  Plumbing & electrical supplies, PVC, copper fittings, all sorts of hardware, hundreds of items too numerous to list, all to be auctioned by the box on June 21 right in downtown Northfield in front of the garden center.  Be sure to come down, look around, meet your friends, and shop at Lansing’s one more time.  Hope to see you at this nice auction right in downtown Northfield

On Saturday, June 14, we will be conducting an auction in Northfield for the estate of Mary Lou Street.  Mary Lou was a long time Northfield resident and a founding member of the Northfield Historical Society.  The auction will be held at 305 Elm Street in Northfield.  This will be a wonderful auction with some of the nicest antiques and primitives that you will see.  You can see even more pictures by clicking on my photo gallery at the right hand side of this page.  Be sure to attend this auction and find a treasure to take home with you.  Elm Street is  on the east side of Northfield, near to Carleton college.   We hope to see you there, so plan to make it a part of your day.

Sara Ann Driessen Auction -update

Every day we are finding more items for the upcoming 3-day auction on May 23, 24, and 25.  I just realized that the butterchurn is actually a “Minnetonna” and not a “Minnetonka” as I originally had thought.  It was made in Owatonna.  Theese are pictures of some of the military uniforms that will be on the auction.  There are more primitives than you will probably see at any other auction this summer.  Come and spend the weekend with us at the auction.  See you there.
