Kuhlman Auction Karaoke Party

On January 27 Barb and I hosted a karaoke party to thank some of the many people who have helped us with our auction business over the past year (and previous years) We had the party in the back room of Froggie’s. Paul Nimbar of Windsong Karaoke provided the music and a lot of our friends provided the sounds. A lot of people had a really good time and we thank everyone for their part. You can see a lot of photos on our photo gallery and at www.northfield.org. Our auction season is really starting to take off, with our next auction on February 26th at 1:00 PM in Mantorville and then the next week we will have a really good auction from the Stephen Fymbo estate. This auction will be on Saturday March 4 in the Mantorville Auction Gallery, starting at 10:00 AM.

January 29- Mantorville Auction Gallery

January is almost over. This winter has flown by. I spent three days at the Minnesota State Auctioneer’s convention earlier this month. I have come back full of new ideas that I can’t wait to try out. Our next auction will be in Mantorville on Sunday. You never know just what will be on a consignment auction until the morning of the auction. Yesterday I took in a nice old spinning wheel, a really cool old doll house (plantation style, with porch columns), child’s Jenny Lind style bed, stained glass window, and lots of other neat items. There will be more things coming in today, tomorrow, and Sunday morning, I am sure. Our consignment auction business in Mantorville is growing and we are going to try to have at least one auction each month. Come on over this Sunday afternoon and visit us if you can. See you at the auction!

I am getting ready for another auction in Mantorville on January 29. We had originally hoped to have it ready earlier, but it will be next week. We already have a lot of nice things (look at our gallery for more pictures). Coins, Dolls, Wanamingo advertising, handwork, antiques, and lots more coming in. Hope to see you there.
