Wilbur and Eva Marie Bergstrom have moved and together with Marcella Pelkey they will be selling a large number of items at auction on Saturday, September 26 at their home at 426 E Hoffman in Cannon Falls. Wilbur worked in maintenance for many years and has a wide assortment of hand and shop tools.  Wilbur also was in the lock and key  business for 12 years and he is selling his entire inventory of key making tools and equipment as one lot in the auction.  This includes four keymaking machines, 6000 key blanks, locks, sets, cylinders, pins, books and manuals, tools for opening car doors and trunks, and all sorts of related items.  Wilbur and Marcella were avid collectors of all sorts of items.  Included in the auction will be collections of cast iron banks, Santas, teapots, snowmen, chickens, pencils, slippers, and rabbits.  Antiques include a picture of the Spiral Bridge in Hastings, an old shelf clock, lamp tables, an original pump organ from a church in Kenyon, and many other interesting items too numerous to mention.  Plan now to attend this auction.

Don’t forget to enjoy one last good flea market this summer.  This is the big weekend in Mantorville.  Vendors are coming from all over to the park to set up their tents with all sorts of antiques and collectibles.  The shops will all be open and ready to greet you.  Three restaurants, Art Guild, theater, tours, antique shops, parade.  Mantorville has it all.  Come and see.
